Af en eller anden \u00e5rsag gik spillet ikke helt som forventet. Jodi som sad over for mig vandt n\u00e6sten hele tiden (jeg mist\u00e6nker hendes dreng for at l\u00e6kke informationer om hvilke kort vi andre sad med). Maja deltog nu ogs\u00e5, og Patty, som normalt sidder i receptionen, havde fri, men kom alligevel for at deltage. Hun havde taget sin mand, Bruce, med sig. Derudover havde hun medbragt 3 kartoner vin, \u00f8l, chips og slik. Brian var leveringsdygtig i rom. Et ungt amerikansk par, hende der nu passede receptionen og ham der passede baren, deltog ogs\u00e5. Nu blev hotellet styret fra vores spillebord. Der var god stemning om bordet, og ofte stoppede spillet fordi forskellige emner skulle diskuteres bl.a. om kulturel forskellighed mellem Amerika, Canada og Danmark, politik, rejser m.m. N\u00e5r s\u00e5 spillet skulle forts\u00e6tte igen, kunne vi knap huske hvor langt vi var n\u00e5et.<\/p>\n<p>Det unge amerikanske par, arbejdede p\u00e5 hotellet for at spare sammen til vandreturen &#8220;The Pacific Crest Trail&#8221; n\u00e6ste \u00e5r. Turen g\u00e5r fra Mexico til Canada, en tur jeg har dr\u00f8mt om at g\u00e5, efter jeg har l\u00e6st bogen, og set filmen &#8220;Wild&#8221;.
